Deceased man found in street; no foul play suspected
ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP — Police say no foul play is suspected in the death of an elderly man whose body was discovered lying in the snow early Friday morning.
Authorities were dispatched to the area of Hollyhock Street and Randall Drive in Ishpeming Township just after 7:00 a.m. According to a police officer on scene, it is believed the man suffered a medical episode while walking around outside near his home early Friday morning.
The man’s name and age are not being released. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, Ishpeming City Police and UP Health System – Bell EMS all responded to the scene.
