CRYSTAL FALLS — A Crystal Falls accused of trying to bring down a structure with explosives last year will be sentenced next month in Iron County Circuit Court.
Fifty-nine year old Brent Ellis pleaded guilty to firearms possession by a felon. Per the plea agreement, a third degree arson charge against him was dropped.
Ellis was arrested last August on the two felony charges. Police say he tried to take down a building in Mastodon Township by using a large amount of tannerite and fireworks.
