Police investigate shooting involving a pickup truck

DAGGETT — Police are on the lookout for a driver who shot at a residence in Menominee County Thursday evening.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post say the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. EST. The driver allegedly drove a pickup into a driveway of a Daggett home and then shot at the home. A juvenile male inside the home ran outside and returned fire with a shotgun. The juvenile was not injured. It is currently unknown if the driver of the truck sustained any injury.

Police say the single cab pickup truck is dark in color and should have damage on the driver’s side from the shotgun. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to call the Gladstone Post at (906) 428-4412.
