UPSET Detectives seize marijuana plants & cash
KINCHELOE — The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) executed a pair of search warrants Wednesday night.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., UPSET Detectives entered 26 and 28 Erin Place in Kincheloe. They seized 39 marijuana plants, processed marijuana, $1,190 in cash, and equipment used to manufacture the plants. According to UPSET Detectives, two of the three occupants in the residence possessed Michigan Medical Marijuana Patient Cards.
The occupants possessed more than the legal amount of marijunana plants that are allowed. No arrests have been made at this time. The situation remains under investigation.
