Woman arrested after causing a two-car accident

IRON MOUNTAIN — One person is in custody after a two-vehicle accident in Iron Mountain Friday morning.

The Iron Mountain Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Carpenter Avenue and West H Street just after 8:30. A northbound Dodge pickup truck rear-ended a Kia SUV that had stopped for a red light.

The driver of the pickup, a 26-year-old woman, was found at fault in the accident and was arrested for operating under the influence of narcotics. She was taken to the Dickinson County Correctional Center.
