Two suspects in jail after meth lab found in Harvey

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP — Two suspects are in jail following the discovery of a meth lab in Harvey today.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team says the lab was found at the Marquette Motor Lodge on US-41 at about 1 p.m. The Chocolay Township Police and Department of Corrections parole officers discovered meth-making components in a number of the motel’s rooms.

UPSET detectives removed the components and some finished product. The suspects are in the Marquette County Jail and their names are being withheld pending arraignment.
