Noquemanon Ski Marathon needs volunteers

MARQUETTE — The 17th annual Noquemanon Ski Marathon is less than two weeks away, and the race weekend needs volunteers.

The Noquemanon will take place at the end of next week, January 23rd through the 25th.

The Noquemanon Trail Network needs about 500 volunteers each year, and several hundred are still needed.

Organizers will need help with the expo and race packet pickup at the Superior Dome on Friday, the 23rd. Help is also needed at the race starting lines at Ishpeming’s Al Quaal Recreation Area and on County Road 510, and at the finish line near the Superior Dome.

Volunteers are also needed at the Wild Side of the Noque event on Sunday the 25th at the Forestville Trailhead in Marquette Township.
