Police locate suspicious vehicle in armed robbery investigation

Escanaba Public Safety officials have located the vehicle believed to have been involved in last Wednesday’s armed robbery incident.

Detectives say they identified the late 1990’s to early 2000’s Chevy or GMC style dark green, extended cab pickup with a loud exhaust and rear bumper “folded” upward toward the box of the truck, but that it did not belong to any of the potential suspects.

Police are still searching for the suspect seen in the People’s Pharmacy surveillance video. He is described as a white male in his early 20’s, 5’10” tall and slender in build with brown hair.

There is a $10,000 reward being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
