Escanaba man pleads guilty to CSC charge
An Escanaba man has pled guilty to a criminal sexual conduct charge in Delta County Circuit Court.
Joseph Williams, 21, admitted to fourth degree CSC in court May 16. The charge involves a victim between the ages of 13 and 16 years old. Two additional charges of third degree CSC will be dropped as part of his plea agreement.
The fourth degree charge is a misdemeanor, which could land Williams in jail for up to two years, net him a $500 fine or both.
He was arrested on April 7 in after an incident in Wells Township.
Williams is still lodged in the Delta County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. He will be sentenced June 30.
