Iron Mountain Police searching for impersonating officer
The Iron Mountain Police are on the lookout for a male subject believed to be impersonating a police officer over the weekend.
Police say the incident occurred around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday night when a woman was stopped while driving her car on West “D” Street near Hemlock. The victim claims the suspect vehicle was a black, older Chevy Impala with a push bumper, spotlight and red bubble type light on top. Police records indicate that there were no traffic stops made in that area at that time by any local agencies.
