No re-trial for Iron River man, pleads guilty to CSC charges
An Iron River man accused of criminal sexual conduct will not be re-tried in Iron County Trial Court.
Dennis Johnson, 55, was scheduled to be re-tried May 20. Instead, during a plea agreement in March, he pled guilty to three counts of attempted second degree CSC.
Johnson was originally on trial in December for six counts of CSC involving girls younger than thirteen, but the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on four counts, resulting in a mistrial on those four. He was going to be re-tried on two first degree CSC counts and two second degree CSC counts.
Johnson will be sentenced May 12.
