Delta County indecent exposure suspect arrested
A Rapid River man wanted for indecent exposure was arrested Friday afternoon and arraigned in Delta County District Court today.
Thomas Lavigne, 29, is charged with one felony count of indecent exposure by sexually delinquent person, a crime punishable by as little as 1 day of jail time to as much as life in prison. Lavigne also faces five counts of aggravated indecent exposure, all of which are high court misdemeanors. He is due back in court on April 17th. Lavigne’s bond is now set at $25,000 cash.
Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Department say they arrested Lavigne last Friday after receiving a report of a man exposing himself earlier in the day. At that time, the Sheriff’s Department confirmed he was the same suspect wanted in connection with other indecent exposure incidents in Delta County.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Department worked in conjunction with Escanaba Public Safety and the Michigan State Police throughout the investigation.
