Meth lab found in Chocolay Township hotel
A man is recovering in Marquette General Hospital today after he was found unresponsive in a Chocolay Township hotel early Thursday morning due to possible drug activity.
Chocolay Township and Marquette City Police responded to the scene around 2:20 a.m. After the subject was transported to MGH for treatment, officers obtained a search warrant. With the assistance of UPSET personnel, officers searched the hotel room and seized meth manufacturing components.
No other information regarding any possible arrests or specifics on the man’s identity has been released.
Officers were assisted on scene by Chocolay Township firefighters and MGH EMS.
