Fireams charge sends man to jail for two months
A man who pleaded guilty to a firearms charge in Ontonagon County Circuit Court will have to spend 60 days in jail.
Chris Worachek, 34, will also have to pay slightly more than $1,000 in fines and court costs.
He pleaded guilty in January to one count of firearm possession by a felon.
Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post arrested Worachek and another man, 33-year-old Andre Jones, at a home in Matchwood Township in July 2013.
Troopers were investigating break-ins in the area, and they say the two men were in possession of stolen property.
The case against Jones was dismissed in December.
