Woman arrested on multiple charges after rollover

A 33-year-old woman was arraigned in the 96th District Court of Ishpeming today after she was arrested on multiple charges following a rollover accident in Michigamme Township last week.

On March 26, Jessica Ranell Jamison of Winterset, IA was traveling eastbound on US-41 at 5:30 a.m. when she rolled her vehicle near Brown Road. Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post responded to the scene and Jamison was transported to Marquette General Hospital for treatment of an injury she received in the crash.

Police arrested Jamison on March 29 and charged her with Possession of Methamphetamine and Ecstacy, Weapons Felony-Firearms, Weapons-Firearms-Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a Vehicle and Operating While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense.

A preliminary exam has been scheduled for April 14 at 10:30 a.m.

Jamison is currently being held at Marquette County Jail on $200,000 bond.
