Federal drug charges filed against Ironwood pair
Two Ironwood residents now face federal drug charges after meth was allegedly found in their home in early March.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Richard Hill and Rebecca Suzik, both 37.
The pair is charged with possession with intent to distribute meth.
U.S. District Court officials say there is no criminal case yet; that decision will not be made until Hill and Suzik appear in court.
They say Hill is currently detained and is awaiting his initial appearance in federal court. Suzik was released on bond. Her next court date has not been scheduled.
Hill and Suzik were arrested by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team March 6. $75,000 worth of meth was discovered at their residence on Kennedy Street in Ironwood.
