Ishpeming’s 4th grade moves to distant learning after COVID case
ISHPEMING — Ishpeming Public Schools’ Birchview Elementary will move their 4th grade to distanced learning for two weeks.
The change comes after a fourth grade student tested positive for COVID–19.
In a press release, Ishpeming superintendent Carrie Meyer said, “Please stay calm for the sake of your students. We are confident that we have identified exposures, and those individual families are being contacted.”
In–person classes will resume November 9th, a week after Ishpeming’s middle and high school will return.
