Meth suspect pleads no contest
MARINETTE, Wisc. — An Iron Mountain woman arrested on a meth charge in Wisconsin in March has entered a plea.
According to Wisconsin Circuit Court records, 36-year-old Crystal Smiltneek pleaded no contest on Tuesday to the charge of possession with intent to deliver three grams or less of meth. She is scheduled to be sentenced on August 7th.
Smiltneek was arrested along with 46-year-old Gregory Record and 33-year-old Jeremy Lake at a traffic stop in Crivitz, Wisconsin on March 1st. Meth and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle during that stop.
Lake is set to be sentenced on August 11th, while Record has a jury trial scheduled for late September.
