First Blast of Winter White
The U.P.’s first snow whipped through the region today, but it might not be around for very long.
The National Weather Service says this Arctic front should be out of here by tomorrow night.
By mid-week, we could be seeing temperatures of around 60 degrees.
This is a little later than average for the first snowfall of the season.
NWS meteorologist Kari Fleegel says the area usually has usually had about 5 inches of snowfall by now.
She also says the Halloween forecast is looking pretty good for trick-or-treating.
At this point, temperatures are looking to be around 40 degrees with only a slight chance of any rain or snow.
