LaFave announces run for Michigan Secretary of State
A familiar Upper Peninsula name could appear on the ballot for Michigan Secretary of of State next year.
State Representative Beau LaFave announced via his Facebook page that he intends to run for the position in 2022.
LaFave claims current Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is making the state’s 10 million residents wait to see staff in local S.O.S. offices.
The Iron Mountain resident was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives’ 108th District seat in 2016.
He is currently serving his third term in the state House.
