Update: Fire at Superior Cedar Products
Carney, Mich -A large fire in Menominee County resulted in one death on Thursday.
Emergency responders were called to Superior Cedar Products in Carney at about 4 pm.
About 100 firefighters were on the scene battling the blaze.
No details have been released about the person who died.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency in Menominee County today.
Senator Ed McBroom of Vulcan said he is monitoring the situation closely.
