M-26 Quincy Creek Culvert Project Starts July 29

Houghton’s M-26 will be closed at Quincy Creek and traffic will be detoured to US-41. The detour is expected to begin August 2^nd with a tentative completion date of late August this summer.

M-dot will be investing around $840,000.00 dollars to replace m-26’s culvert at Quincy Creek as well as scour countermeasures and approach reconstruction.

The project will provide safe, long-term replacement of the culvert and the roadway damaged from the 2018 Father’s Day Flood.
