MDOT investing in I–75 repair in Chippewa

An emergency I–75 repair in Chippewa county will begin July 20th.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will be investing nearly $118,000 for pavement repairs.

This occurred when pavement voids were developing at a culvert on I–75 at the North Branch of the Munuscong River.

According to officials, a contractor will be injecting Polyurethane material to fill the voids to stabilize the pavement.
