MARQUETTE, Mich. – Kameron Karp, Marquette Senior High School Senior and Football/Basketball/Track & Field student-athlete, was selected as one of 24 “Boys – Class A” finalists from around the state. From this highly accomplished field of male student-athletes, six (6) will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the MHSAA and Farm Bureau Insurance.

“It’s just always rewarding to a student-athlete as driven as Kameron has been, to not only take the work to establish the goals for himself that he has” says Marquette High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo. “Just to see through the hard work he has put in, the training during the off-seasons and how bad he has wanted to achieve these things and to see that all come to fruition.”
The 32 total recipients of the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award will be announced throughout February.
