SOUTH ISHPEMING, Mich. (WBUP) — There are five days left in regular firearm deer hunting season, a yearly two–week tradition that many people take time off to go enjoy.
Reporter Ronnie Das went for the first time when he met up with Dean Larson who has been hunting for 33 years.
Dean’s earliest memory of hunting was with his father and he hunts with advice from both his father and grandfather.
Of course, a lot of lessons are also learned while doing an activity and Dean has plenty of his own advice for people interested in hunting.
We may not have bagged a buck on this particular trip, but that is part of the thrill of the hunt and Ronnie is excited to his next trip to the blind.
For many hunters this is like Christmas and they can’t wait for adding more traditions next season.
