New website features info from local businesses throughout Marquette County
MARQUETTE — A new website is helping shoppers enjoy local businesses this holiday season.
MarquetteNow has information on a wide range of businesses throughout Marquette County. The idea behind the site is to help local businesses when they need it the most, according to one of the website founders.
“What we really want to do is help support local business,” said Doug Lindbloom, Co-Founder of MarquetteNow. “We’re looking down the barrel of a winter where there’s still a lot of uncertainty about what will be open and what we can do for service options, and those things are subject to change at any time. So we want to create a website where customers can connect with businesses, and we’re going to help them do that creatively on the website, Facebook, and other social media pages as well.”
Go to MarquetteNow for deals, menu items, and information about services. The creators also hope to have an app in the near future.
The website will also highlight business hours and additional COVID–19 restrictions.
