Raising the roof at the Vista Theater
NEGAUNEE, Mich (WBUP) — A local theater is moving ahead on plans to secure the building throughout the winter.
This morning a salvage crew began removing debris at the Vista Theater in Negaunee.
The crew used a crane to remove the damage caused by the roof collapse which happened earlier this year.
The efforts today are part of the progress in restoring the Vista.
After the debris is removed, contractors will focus on protecting the building from wind and the winter weather.
The debris removal process is scheduled to be completed this Friday.
