MARQUETTE, Mich (WBUP) – Michigan recorded its 8,000 COVID-19 related death today and the case numbers are continuing to rise around the state.
Local health officials are worried about what the rise in Coronavirus cases would mean for our community.
The Director of Environmental Health at the Marquette County Health Departments says we are getting to the point where we could be straining our health care system.
If our health care system becomes overloaded we will see an even bigger increase in death rates than we are currently experiencing.
