Red Cross offering $5 Amazon gift card to those who donate
MARQUETTE — The American Red Cross is giving people the chance to win some money.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Red Cross will be giving a $5 Amazon gift card to anyone that donated blood between October 15th and November 11th.
Donating blood gives the gift of life, while getting a gift at the same time.
“Blood cannot be manufactured,” said Laura McGuire, External Communications for the American Red Cross. “We can only get it from one another. It’s a super easy process, it takes less than an hour of your time. We’ve got fantastic volunteers, staff and donors that can help you through the whole process. You walk away with a really great feeling knowing you can help save someone’s life.”
Donating blood will also put you into a drawing, where you could win a $1,000 Amazon gift card. 5 people will win.
