Two arrested for drug-related charges in Marquette

MARQUETTE — Two people have been arrested for drug charges in Marquette.

The two were arrested September 1st by Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and Michigan State Police detectives.

A two-month long investigation of a Wisconsin man for distribution of crystal meth and fentanyl led to a federal arrest warrant.

The Wisconsin man was in possession of 60 grams of crystal meth and fentanyl at the time of his arrest.He was also charged with resisting arrest.

Both suspects were lodged in the Marquette County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
