UPDATE: remains of missing Wisconsin man found in Alger County

MUNISING TOWNSHIP — The remains of a Wisconsin man thought to be missing for two months have been found in Alger County, according to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.

Jimmy Lee Willey, aged 66 of Beecher Wisconsin, was missing since June 6th.

Willey’s remains were found in his van, located in a swampy remote trail off Chapel Road in Munising Township, by a woman walking her dog.

The investigation is currently ongoing. No foul play is suspected at this point.
