Marquette Mountain to upgrade their property

MARQUETTE — Due to COVID–19 canceling summer events, Marquette Mountain is using this time to upgrade many facilities that include ski hills, the T–bar and bike trails.

They hope to be ready for the start of the skiing season.

“Our goal here is to establish more year–round operations,” said Andrew Farron, General Manager at Marquette Mountain. “That’s the big part of the mountain biking and the bar renovations that we’re doing now. The hope is to establish more of a year–round commitment to the community and our employees as well. Try to retain those employees, and I think transition from season to season a lot more smoothly.”

Farron says they’re in a huge hiring phase and are looking for employers.
