UPDATE: According to the Ishpeming Police Department, 11-year-old Syprin Janee Cole has been located early Thursday morning in Boerne, Texas.
Her father, Jason Wade Cole, is now in custody and is lodged in the Kendall County Jail. He was last seen with Syprin on May 24th, at the Brentwood Motor Inn in Marquette.
Syprin was unharmed, and the Ishpeming Police Department will be working with authorities from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department as well as Child Protective Services in Kendall County to transport her back to her mother in Ishpeming.
According to the Ishpeming Police, the mid-2000’s white Ford F-150 that was Jason was last seen driving was located in a parking lot in Boerne. The local authorities took Jason into custody shortly after that.
As of right now, Jason is being charged with felony kidnapping-custodial interference.

UPDATE: According the Ishpeming Police Department, the white truck in the parental kidnapping investigation was spotted yesterday on a highway near Denton, Texas.
Texas authorities have been notified of the situation.
The truck is believed to be driven by 46-year-old Jason Wade Cole of Bexar, Texas. Through the use of video surveillance, the police are able to verify the correct license plate number to be JPM 6051.

MARQUETTE COUNTY — The City of Ishpeming Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a parental kidnapping.
Police are looking for 11-year-old Syprin Janee Cole, who was last seen with her father, Jason Wade Cole of Bexar, Texas. Syprin was last seen with her father on the night of Saturday, May 24, at the Brentwood Motor Inn in Marquette. Jason failed to return Syprin to her mother on May 26, as was agreed upon.
Jason was last seen driving a mid-2000s white Ford F-150 with an 8-foot box. The plate on the vehicle is reported to be Texas Registration JPM 5061. This registration is improper and does not belong on that vehicle.
A felony warrant has been issued for Jason by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office for parental kidnapping. He is described as a 46-year-old white male, approximately 5’9″ and 160 pounds.
