Ontonagon area small businesses may apply for assistance to survive crisis

ONTONAGON — Small businesses in the Ontonagon area effected by the COVID-19 shutdown can now apply for assistance.

Rich Ernest, Chair of the Village DDA, is coordinating county-wide efforts to make information available on the various economic assistance programs offered by the SBDC, the MEDC, and Michigan Works. Funding from the state and federal government through these programs can provide financial help for small business owners and their employees to survive this crisis.

Business owners may contact Rich Ernest at 884-2823 or by email at ontonagondda@gmail.com. More information is available on the Village of Ontonagon website.
