Green Bay Packers tickets up for auction to support the Beacon House

MARQUETTE — At the beginning of this week the Beacon House was gifted two Playoff Green bay Packers tickets by Steve Mariucci. Now those tickets have been undergoing a bidding war to benefit the new Steve Mariucci Family Beacon House.

The auction officially started on January 6th and will end on Wednesday the 8th at 5 pm. The bid for the two tickets kicked off at $500. Members of the community can offer bids on the face book page event to try and win the tickets for the big game on January 12th.

“If you are a Packers fan and or even if you are a Seahawks fan, we still love you, because the money is all going to the Beacon house,” said Mary Dowling, CEO of Beacon House. “So that is the big playoff game that is going to be coming this Sunday at Lambeau Field which is going to insane I think. So we are excited that he (Steve Mariucci) bought us two tickets for that and just sent them in the mail. We will be raffling them off on our face book page, which we had created an event for, so if you are a friend of Beacon House of Marquette on face book you will be able to see the post right away. If you are not a friend then please like us, so please go to the Beacon House page and you will see the event there. It is the Steve Mariucci Packer Tickets auction event.”

The winner will be notified and arrangements will be made to pick up the tickets after the announcement has been finalized. The organization has been working for over 2 years so far to raise the money to build the new Steve Mariucci Family Beacon House. The organization has raised over two million and five-hundred thousand dollars, but still need five-hundred thousand dollars left to be able to break ground in the spring for the new facility.
