Search warrants executed on businesses in Menominee, narcotics,weapons and records seized

MENOMINEE — As the result of an ongoing investigation the Michigan State Police Marijuana and Tobacco Investigation section executed two search warrants that were performed on November 20th. The search warrants were executed on Hush Lounge and related businesses in Menominee, MI. Cash, records, narcotics and guns were seized during the execution of the search warrants.
 
At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing. The State of Michigan requires all marijuana dispensaries to be licensed and funding for these investigations is paid for by licensing and regulatory fees collected by the state.
 
Detectives from the Michigan State Police were assisted by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, the Eighth District Hometown Security Team, as well as members from the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team and Menominee City Police Department.
