UPDATE:Body of missing 17-year-old found in river

UPDATE — At approximately 3:00 pm on November 19th, the Menominee Police Dept. in conjunction with many other agencies conducted a search of the waters near Stephenson Island. The body of missing 17-year-old Kristin Hope Gromoske of Menominee, MI was located.

This incident is currently under investigation. More information will be forthcoming.


MENOMINEE — Police are still looking for a missing teenager last seen Friday, Nov. 8 in Menominee.

Menominee County 911 and the Menominee City Police Department say 17-year-old Kristin Hope Gromoske was reported missing Monday.

Menominee City Police say she was last seen at the State Line Mini Mart in Marinette, Wisconsin, wearing a purple winter jacket with fur on the hood and gray sweatpants.

Police say Gromoske has red hair and blue eyes. She also weighs roughly 114 pounds and is 5-foot, 6-inches tall.
