11th annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival hosting over 100 breweries on September 7th

MARQUETTE — The 11th annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival is a one day event being held this Saturday at the Ellwood A Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.

Attendees can choose from over 800 locally crafted beers from more than 100 Michigan breweries. This event also showcases products such as a wide array of tasty food from area restaurants, and the opportunity to listen to a talented line-up of musicians while patrons sip their craft beer.

“Well I think the number of breweries that are coming into town and the number of events that we have each year has been growing,” explained Susan Estler, Executive Director of Travel Marquette. “So having over 800 different types of brews with over a hundred different type of breweries coming into Marquette certainly makes it a very busy time. It is also a great time to try all the different brews that are made throughout the state of Michigan.”

Limited quantities of tickets are also available for purchase at these Marquette retailers such as the Vierling, Blackrocks Brewery, Ore Dock Brewing Co., Marquette Food Co-op.
