NEGAUNEE — One farm is preparing for their seasonal opening on Saturday, June 22, and they’re excited to have people visiting again.

Jo–Kay Corral is back for their fourth season now that the weather is warming up.

Their kick–off event will include hay and horse rides, hands–on learning, and some farm games.

“There’s something special about the animals and the farm setting that people just really enjoy. They’re able to relax and spend time together as a family. One of my favorite ones, was a little kid when he ran up to his dad and said ‘daddy, daddy when I grow up I want to be a farmer'” said the owner, Jodi McIlhany.

Animals at the farm include bunnies, chickens, goats, sheep, horses and more.

The kick–off event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., admission is $5 and there will be a raffle drawing for a free birthday party.
