The description of the deceased male was consistent with the description of the missing boat occupant, and it was later confirmed to be  Mr. Tart. The investigation is currently ongoing.

The Marinette and Oconto County Sheriff’s offices were assisted by the Wisconsin and Michigan DNR, Menominee Michigan Sheriff Marine Unit, along with several local police and fire departments.
