Ishpeming man arrested for possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material
ISHPEMING — An Ishpeming man has been arrested and charged with Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material.
Rodney Thomas Wallberg, 66, was arrested March 21st by the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, after investigating is online activity.
Wallberg is charged with 5 counts of Child Sexually Abusive Activity, along with 5 counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
The maximum penalty for each count of Child Sexually Abusive Activity is 20 years in prison, and/or a $100,000 fine.
The penalty for each count of using a computer to commit a crime can reach a maximum of 20 years in prison, and/or a $20,000 fine.
