Queen City Burger celebrates grand opening
MARQUETTE– The much–awaited Queen City Burger Company has finally opened, and with a warm welcome from the Marquette community.
After months of preparation and hype over the high–quality burgers and interesting menu items, the restaurant had a very busy grand opening.
“Yeah we did a soft opening on Saturday; we didn’t really advertise it. We got slammed Saturday, and then today was the grand opening, and we’ve been super busy,” says Eric Curtis, owner.
During the first hours of the restaurant opening, there was a line eagerly waiting out the door.
Long waiting times was the initial issue, until the new staff got it under control.
Some of the most popular food items were the double cheeseburger, and the double cheeseburger with bacon.
If today is any indication of how business will be, the Marquette community will be enjoying quality burgers for years to come.
