Vehicle fire in Escanaba, vehicle considered a total loss

ESCANABA — On April 4, 2019, at approximately 6:26 p.m., Escanaba Public Safety Officers were dispatched to a fire at 2005 8th Ave. South.

Upon arrival, officers found that the fire involved a tour bus parked in close proximity to a building.

Officers were able to control the fire quickly, but the tour bus was a total loss.

The building sustained minor damage.

The cause of the fire still remains under investigation and there were no sustained injuries during the incident.
