MARQUETTE — While the occasional bar crawl is always a good time, students at Northern Michigan University are working to give crawlers a chance to drink something new.

The NMU Public Relations Student Society of America is hosting the second annual Marquette Coffee Crawl.

This event is to help spread awareness to the unique coffee flavors around the city of Marquette, as well as raise money for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

“The Women’s Center does a lot for the community in Marquette. Especially being on a college campus where sexual assault can be something that happens. Having support for women in the community is something that is close to our heart and something we want to be part of,” said Haley Bussell, President of PRSSA.

The crawl will feature 8 local coffee shops in downtown Marquette.

Since the bar crawl was so popular last year they are offering 3 separate 100 people time slots.

General admission tickets are $13 and upgraded tickets are $16 with a coffee crawl T-Shirt.
