Winter parking ban suspended in Ishpeming
ISHPEMING– Due to recent warmer weather conditions, the city of Ishpeming has decided to not enforce the winter parking ban.
Normally, the winter parking ban would be in effect until April 30th.
Because the weather has been so warm lately with little to no snowfall, the parking ban will be lifted.
The city of Ishpeming reminds residents to keep an eye on the weather. If the weather worsens and there is a need for snow plows to come out, the ban will be reinstated, and residents could be ticketed.
