Six arrested for breaking and entering

MARQUETTE — On 12-21-18 at approximately 8:20 pm, officers from the Marquette Police Department arrested six suspects from a vacant apartment in the 400 Blk of W. Washington St. The suspects had broken a window to gain entry into the apartment.
The Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office authorized Home Invasion 3rd Degree Charges on the following individuals, Sean Leslie Badge (47) homeless from Grand Rapids, Andrew John Beaudry (44) homeless from Marquette, Anthony Joseph Bargenquast (38) homeless from Wisconsin, Peter George Carlson (48) homeless from Marquette, Timothy Edward Jesky (49) homeless from Marquette, and Melissa Beth Harvey (39) homeless from Iron Mountain.
Bond was set at 10% of $10,000 on all the suspects, except for Timothy Jesky, where his bond was set at 10% of $5,000. Home Invasion 3rd Degree is a felony and punishable up to 5 years in prison.
The Marquette Police Department were assisted in the investigation by NMU Public Safety, the Michigan State Police and the Chocolay Township Police Department. All the suspects are currently lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
