Man from Ishpeming shooting arraigned on Friday
ISHPEMING — On Friday, September 7th, Brandon Lee Schiefel was arraigned in Marquette County District Court.
A preliminary exam is now set for September 25th.
Schiefel was arrested Ishpeming on a 12 count warrant on September 6th, at approximately 2:00 P.M.
His charges include assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm at a building, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and others.
The 24-year-old’s charges come as a result from an investigation of a drive-by shooting that happened on August 28th on Iron Street.
Schiefel was one of three people of interest interviewed by police the day after the shooting.
During the interview, he denied any involvement in the shooting.
The Ishpeming Police Department is still investigating the incident.
