MARQUETTE COUNTY — It’s getting close to that time of the year when the Marquette Haunted Hay Ride starts looking for sponsors and volunteers for the event this October.

Tonight the Marquette Haunted Hay Ride group held its informational meeting where they are trying to get the word out for help this year. They are still accepting volunteers for another week and are looking to start getting plans drawn up for the 10th annual Haunted Hay Ride.

The groups spokesperson is very excited for the tenth anniversary of the event and hopes many will come out to help with the production.

“Well they should come and volunteer because this is like the best event of the year and it is so much fun,” said Coordinator for Marquette’s Haunted Hay Ride, Andi Goriesky. “Honestly this is a great seasonal event. This is our ten year anniversary that we have been doing this now. What so great about it is that it keeps all the funds right here in our community.”
