Music on Third Street making another debut
MARQUETTE — Calling all music lovers, The annual “Music on Third Street” will be going on this Thursday.
There will be 15 different local bands playing a wide variety of music.
A lot of favorite local bands come back month after month and year after year.
This is also a great opportunity for folks to hear some great musicians.
“It’s wonderful for people of all ages kids, adults grandparents everybody. It’s a nice chance for people to stroll up and down third street. They can listen to some great bands, check out some nice businesses that are on 3rd street and maybe grab a bite to eat as well,” said Tara Laase – McKinney, Promotions and Events Coordinator for Marquette Downtown Development Authority.
Music on Third Street is free admission to the public. The next event will be held on September 20th.
It’s a great chance for students from Northern Michigan University to come on down and check out third street as well and hear some great bands.
