NEGAUNEE — A local bakery is hoping to share its product with the community.

Restoration Baking Company is working to promote their new business by holding their first ever pop–up shop at 1844 in Negaunee. Being a fairly new business, they are looking for more customers. Owner Tammy Carlson is excited to share her product, as well as her mission, with the long line of customers.

“I hope that they see the quality of work that we have, and the love that we have for people,” Carlson said. “We just appreciate everybody that’s supported us so far. We hire recovering and abused women; we’ve had a couple of employees from the Great Lakes Recovery Program that have just gotten out of prison.”

Restoration Baking provides women the opportunity to get a fresh start in life. The company takes private orders through their Facebook page.
